Accommodations good with the exception of road noise. Good location. Convenient to Bay Harbor and Schoodic Peninsula as well as Fort Knox in Bucksport.
We enjoyed our stay at Acadia Sunrise Motel. Great value and great location. It was clean and had all the amenities you would want, spacious room with comfortable beds. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful with tips on things to do and see. We would definitely recommend to anyone to stay.
First time to Maine. It was nice to be staying in a motel with staff and a owner that cares. My husband and I enjoyed our stay here. It made our vacation pleasant.

Our room was clean, spacious and well maintained. The motel had nice amenities, such as a heated pool gas grill, a basketball hoop and a nice back yard with picnic tables.
We would definitely come again.
The hotel is sandwiched between Route 3 and the airport. We noticed road noise at night, but noise from the airport was virtually non-existent.
We love this place! Friendly, down to earth staff, great prices, and a chance to get away from the crowds. We have come 3 or 4 years, always a good experience. Most guests are out early in the morning to go sight-seeing, and we never had a problem with late-night noise. No worries about road noise: just turn the A/C fan on. Don't be hyper-picky, as Acadia Sunrise beats everyone else by a mile on price. Recommend!
