Disregard all of the amateur negative reviews! Been coming to this place for the last 20 years and that should speak for itself! The lobsters are fresh, priced below market value and the service is unparalleled. It truly is a mom and pop place and both of them are at the restaurant everyday to prove it. The place was recommended by locals 20 years ago and everyone who is an experienced travel will know "eat where the locals eat." Sure you can pay double at one of the other tourist traps, but if you want excellent lobsters at a true no frills market price ($11.99 per pound) this is the place for you. I just wish there was a place like this back home in the Bronx!!!

Ok place too eat on the go. Very simple place routine food. Prices like in restaurant but for the place and the time of year they were high. It is very similar to other places in the area. There were two options to sit - inside and outside, served differently. Restroom on the outside could be cleaned and maintained better - mountain of paper. Minus one star. For the price of one lobster they could get a gallon of paint and fix walls.

The food is so delicious. This is truly a local Mom and pop place. I go in my jeans and t-shirt and dig into my lobster. If u want fancy not your place but if you want good food and friendly service this is your place. Love it here, customer for years will continue to come.

Young server at the outdoor seating order counter was genuine and kind. He answered all of our questions. Food was tasty. I'd recommend the scallions as a side. Good stuff. Soft shell lobster was delicious. Side salad had ripe fresh tomatoes and cucumbers in it.

Charming! Get a cup of lobster stew and scratch your Maine itch. Down home owners, real Down East experience. Lots of history in the kitchen. Talk with the owners - delightful. They have owned this place for 50+ years. It's filled with beany babies! The sons are in the kitchen and the grandmas take your orders. They will do whatever it takes to please your tastes. Very very pricey!
