I'm generously giving this store 1 star just because there were a few nice things in there. However, overall it was not a great experience. The lady who greeted us was very nice. But after we had looked around for awhile we could hear the conversation between her & a couple of other employees ( or people who just hung out there). Personal, nasty, catty trash talk about others. Cursing in front of customers. I in no way mean to stereotype people, but where I'm from in the south, that wouldn't be acceptable by any stretch of the imagination. And I highly doubt that here in most places, it would be acceptable either. It's very doubtful we'll be back.

Owner extremely rude! Came to visit the Bar Harbor area, and decided to do some antiquing. Once in the store, my 11 yrs old son needed to use the bathroom. The owner told him bathrooms were not available. My husband thought my son misunderstood, so he inquired himself. This time the owner told my husband bathrooms were on the 2nd story. My husband asked the owner why she told my son the bathrooms were unavailable. She replied the bathrooms were being cleaned. She asked my husband if he and my son were shopping in the store. My husband replied I was browsing. She finally said the store was hers and she could do whatever she wanted. She's right! She can keep the store all to herself! We were out of there!
